Straight up answers is who really knows! God
has graciously grown us and there aren’t many churches running over 400 in attendance that don’t even have a permanent home. So in some ways we aren’t limited by being renters.
But – we do believe that having our own building would facilitate significant growth in a number of areas. We know from some other churches that went from renting to permanent home that they jumped in attendance by as much as 30-40%. We also know there are ministries we can’t run or can’t run fully the way we think we should without our own facility.
So the upside is … well up! Is it a drop-dead necessity? No. Are we at risk without one of not having a location to do some of our ministry? Yes. Do we think we should work toward our own facility so we can keep advancing the ministry? Absolutely yes!
