Children's Ministry
Special Needs Caregivers
You would stay in the children's area with a child needing some one on
one care during a church service, either from 8:25A.M.-10:20A.M.
(during first service) or from 10:30A.M.-12:20P.M.
(during second service). You will be expected to attend training meetings once a year. You could be a great blessing in someone's life.

getting new people connected with our Children's community! Welcome
guests, answer their questions, guide them through the paper work of
registering their kids, and walk the Children's ministry hallways
helping with security.
Ages 2 & 3 Teacher
An opportunity to mentor and teach young children through various activities that reinforce the lesson. From 8:25A.M.-10:20A.M.
(during first service) or from 10:30A.M.-12:20P.M.
(during second service) Sunday mornings. You will be expected to attend one or two training meetings a year.
Grade 1 & 2 Teacher
An opportunity to teach Bible stories and use games to reinforce lessons. Curriculum provided. From 8:25A.M.-10:20A.M.

Grade 3 Teacher
An opportunity to mentor and teach young people using the curriculum provided. From 8:25A.M.-10:20A.M.

babies. You provide the love. You will be expected to attend one or two

Worker: 2 & 3 year olds
You have an opportunity to show God to a child through your love and
godly behaviour as they learn the value of regularly being a part of
God's community. Interacting with toys in such a way as to teach God's
care and love for the world and for them. Come relearn the joy of life
through the eyes of a child. Sunday mornings from 8:25A.M.-10:20A.M.
(during first service) or from 10:30A.M.-12:20P.M.
(during second service). You will be expected to attend one or two training meetings a year.
Worker: 4 & 5 year olds
An opportunity to play with cars and blocks, relearn and teach Bible
stories in creative ways, share Christ to 4 and 5 year old children. If
you are shy to share Christ with adults, maybe a good first step is to
share Christ with kids! Sunday mornings from 8:25A.M.-10:20A.M.
(during first service) or from 10:30A.M.-12:20P.M.
(during second service). You will be expected to attend training once or twice a year.
Worker: Grades 1 & 2, 3 , 4 & 5
Teens Needed. An opportunity to grow personally as you give of yourself
to mentor young people and assist the teacher. From 8:25A.M.-10:20A.M.
(during first service) or from 10:30A.M.-12:20P.M.
(during second service) Sunday mornings. You will be expected to attend one or two training meetings a year.
Sunday Teams
Usher/Greeter
8am-12:30pm. One Service per Sunday. This team is always in need of new
members. We help welcome, direct, and inform our guests and also help
with the collection of the offering. It's also a great way to meet lots
of people!
Resource Center
8am to 12:45pm. The resource center will be open before the first
service, between services and after the last service. Please contact us
if you can help for one or both services. The people on this team help
with our book table, audio CD library and information table. They set-up
displays, answer questions, promote Harvest events and help everyone
find the resources they need.
Setup Team
7am-8am & 12:15pm-1:15pm. Once every 4 weeks. Setup teams are
responsible for setting up and taking down of the equipment in the
lobby, classrooms, signs in the parking lot etc.
Parking Lot Team
8:15am-9:15am & 10:15am-11:15am. Once every 4 weeks. The Parking Lot
Team's role on a Sunday is to ensure that we have a controlled and safe
parking lot. This role also helps create a welcoming atmosphere for
guests/regulars before they even set foot in the building. This position
requires a lot of patience, decision making skills, and a no fear
attitude towards the weather elements! Full training is provided.
Metrics Team
1 or 2 Sundays/month The Metrics Team record attendance during both
services in the auditorium, lobby and children's ministry area. Position
requires approximately 15 minutes and is performed during the start of
the sermon as this is the optimal time to record attendance.
University Bus Conductor
Ride the free Harvest Bus service we provide for our
Fanshawe College & UWO students as it travels through both campuses
to Harvest and then back again. This is a huge ministry to students
looking for a church home, and we are looking for volunteers to take the
bus ride with them and connect with the students.
Ministry Teams
Prayer Team
This team has a huge opportunity to minister to the church body. This
team is not just for prayer warriors, so if you feel like your prayer
life isn't as strong as some others you know, do not let that stop you
from joining this team. It is a multi-faceted ministry, with many
different positions to be filled. If you are a phone caller, an
encourager, good at follow up, gifted at administration, good at making
cards - whatever it is - you have a role to play on the prayer team.
Gospel Outreach "GO" Team
One of the 4 Pillars of Harvest is the sharing the Good News of Jesus
Christ with Boldness. How will it impact our church and community if
everyone we come in contact with is consistently hearing the Gospel and
consistently experiencing the fully functioning Body of Christ? This is
the mission of our "GO Team".
The Harvest Bible Chapel Gospel Outreach Team ("GO Team") is a group of
Christ-followers commissioned and supported by our local church to
preach the Gospel while working together to serve the spiritual,
emotional, and material needs of those in our community in accordance
with the various gifts God has given each of us.
We are looking for people to be involved in the following roles: Prayer
Team, Follow Up Team, Ministry Team, Counseling Team, Events Team,
Service Team, Youth Team, and work on our GO Team Table on Sundays.
Compassion Team
If you have a heart for the lost or down-trodden, and your heart burns
to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the people in our community
we are looking to hear from you. We want to grow a team of people who
can meet the needs of the community in an intentional, God glorifying
manner.
Congregational Care
The Congregational Care Ministry and Benevolence Team facilitates and
administers care to the church body of Harvest who are outside of small
groups, and to assist existing small groups to meet the needs of their
people. We are looking to grow this team and ensure that the emergency
needs of our people are being taken care of at Harvest while we continue
to be good stewards of the resources He gives us. Take a look at the

Phone Call/Visitation Team
For people who have a passion to encourage and support people in the
church family via phone or in person. The Congregational Care Team
receive various requests/messages during the week that require contact
from the church family, and we are looking for people who have a desire
to be that first point of contact. Time commitment for phone calls could
range from 1-2 requests per week. Visitation could be 1-2 per month.
Servants on Standby
We are looking for people who are available to do a variety of tasks on
an as needed basis to serve the Harvest family who have need. If you are
available to help with jobs such as a house move, mow a lawn, shovel
snow, run an errand, we'd love to hear from you. Time commitment could
range from 1-2 requests per month.
Meals Team
If you have a culinary gift and you want to use it to bless others in
the church we'd love to hear from you. We organize meals for groups
outside of a small group, such as new mothers, and people who are sick
or bereaved. Time commitment could be 1-2 meals per month.
Events Team
If you are skilled at planning, coordinating and recruiting for large
events such as our Baptism Events, funerals etc we would like to hear
from you! We are looking to build a strong team that can plan and run
events at Harvest.
Benevolence Leader
The Benevolence Team facilitates and administers care to the church body
of Harvest. We are looking for Benevolence Leaders to interview
applicants for benevolence assistance and discern how and what level to
provide emergency assistance. The time commitment would be weekly phone
calls and one-on-one meetings on an as needed basis. Primary gifts
required are mercy, discernment and wisdom. Must be a partner (member)
with character qualifications of a deacon 1 Timothy 3:8-13
Worship Audio/Visual Teams
Simulcast Camera Setup (4 Volunteers Needed)
Setup Camera each week for simulcast room. A very quick N easy job that
serves families with young children immeasurably. Takes 15 minutes tops!
Setup job and/or tear down job needed. Frequency: Bi-Weekly
Video Team Setup (4 Volunteers Needed)
We need people who will join the video setup team. Tasks include
assembling equipment: projectors/tv sets, running chords and connecting
video components each Sunday. Super easy and actually dare we say F-U-N!
Times and Frequency: (1 in 4 week rotation) Arrive at 6:30am
Video Team Operator for Worship Team (2 Volunteers Needed)
Operators needed to serve the worship team with the prompting of lyrics.
If you can click a mouse then you can prompt! Music lover? Karaoke
lover? Don't worry you won't have to sing! Times and Frequency: (1 in 4
week rotation) Arrive at 7:30am for first service rehearsal and prompt
for 9am
Setup Help for Children's Worship Team (4 Volunteers Needed)
Volunteers needed to help with audio/video gear setup for the children
worship time. Times and Frequency: (1 in 4 week rotation) Arrive at 7am
for setup in cafeteria.
Lighting Team (4 Volunteers Needed)
Lighting console operators needed. While working with the LT leader,
operators will learn operation of the lighting console. Colours-Buttons
and switches...oh my! Lighting people are said to be the brightest of
the bunch.sorry it had to be said. Times and Frequency: (1 in 4 week
rotation) Arrive at 6:30am for setup in Auditorium
Audio Team Stage Hand (4 Volunteers Needed)
Ever had a dream of being a roadie? Join the audio team. Individuals are
needed to provide help and support for audio console operators. Tasks
include running cables, setting up equipment and working with the audio
leader. No previous audio experience necessary. Times and Frequency: (1
in 4 week rotation) Arrive at 6:30am for setup in Auditorium
Information Technology/Communications Team
Network Administrator
As our church grows our staff is growing and so is the amount of
information and data we are handling at the office. We are looking for
someone who has time and skills to implement and maintain our church
computer network and central data storage systems.
Graphic Design/Layout
We are looking for 1-2 talented individuals to work with the
Communications Director to begin providing graphics for Sunday sermons,
announcement slides, banners, handouts/brochures. Time requirements
would be on an as needed basis.
Video Director
If you can envision the way a video needs to be shot and edited the
moment someone tells you an idea for a video we want to hear from you.
We are looking to increase our in house video production at Harvest.
Videographer
If you have experience or schooling in the use of video cameras for
shooting and on a technical level then we want to hear from you.
Video Editor
If you have experience in video editing and using audio clips for
creating a finished film please contact us. Owning a copy of your own
editing software such as Final Cut etc would be a bonus.
