Norm has placed a news item on our website following up from last Sunday's teaching. Paul in Colossians 3:11-13 instructs Christ-followers to put on the virtues or character of Jesus Christ. One of these virtues, so key to living the Christian life, is humility. Put on humility. And since pride is likely the number one sin struggle for all of us, this is such a necessary task to regularly check to see if pride or humility is reigning in our lives.

We are so encouraged by what God is doing in our young adults ministries. A special thank you, once again, to all who "adopted" students earlier this year. Please remember to pray, connect, and take care of your adopted student during the remaining few months of this school year. Some of the Children's Ministry classes have also seized this opportunity and they too continue to love their adopted students through prayer and care packages. What an incredible way for the body of Christ to come together in being, for many...another "home" away from home.
Here's a reminder of a few YA events coming up: "Lunch & Learn" at the Kloestra's house Sunday afternoons 1:00-4:00 on Feb 5th and March 4th. We are also looking forward to a special Word and Worship at "The Wave" Sunday, March 11 (7-8:30@Western U Campus). This final Wave event will close off our school year, so you're not going to want to miss it.
