Personal Testimony:

My name is Indra Bahadur dahal (Timothy). I was born in a remote village of Nepal. My family was very poor and we followed Hindu religion. We could not get proper food to eat therefore; I came to Kathmandu when I was 12 yrs old. I used to work in somebody’s house and also carried on my study. After some time they kicked me out from that house. I was very discouraged and disappointed. I wanted to commit suicide.

One day one man gave me a Gospel tracts and it was written from John 14:6 “I am the way, and the truth and the Life”. The following Saturday the man took me to the church. The people at the church loved me very much. I received peace in my heart and the same day I accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of Life.  After I received Christ, I continued to go to Church. In the year 1988 the Lord called me into the ministry, since 1989 I have been servicing the Lord.

I have four members in my family, my wife her name is Yashoda Dahal and my self, one my son his Name is Samuel Dahal,He is 18 years old. And one my daughter her name is Asha Dahal and my daughter is 14 years old.

I have B.T.H. Level theology and many kind of bible and church planting training.

I am a president of Nepal Missionary Church mission. We have 40 Churches and 25 cell groups in our mission. I am a church planter. I have vision to preach the gospel of Jesus to the unreached people and community. I have been in the full time ministry for last 21 years. I have been with the gospel of Christ in 65 districts out of 75 districts of Nepal.

Nepal is a beautiful landlocked country which is located in between India and China. Nepal, home to Mount Everest, is dominated by the world's most imposing mountains. It is 147,181 square kilometers in area. 80 percent of its territory is occupied by the dramatic peaks of the Himalayas. Nepal was closed to foreign Christian missions until 1951, a situation which contributed greatly to its mystique to the missionaries.

Nepal's 28 million inhabitants belong to dozens of different ethnic groups. They can be divided roughly into Hindu peoples (who live mainly in the lowlands) and Buddhists, who live in mountain villages close to Tibet. Hindus, who make up 95 percent of the population, dominate political and religious life. The Christianity is merely about one percent. More than 90% people of Nepal are very poor.

This was our verse and promise for 2003

We expect the Lord do great and mighty things in our midst, things that we have not even imagined and experienced. And in fact He is already doing this. As we reach out and move forward we see the hand of the Lord in our day today activities.

The sick are being healed and those in the clutch of the devil are being released as we pray in the mighty name of Jesus and trust him to do his work among our people. It is the work of God and the hand of God which is helping us to press on and move forward with the promise and with his miracles attending our ministry to his beloved people in Nepal.

Nepal is known as a Hindu nation even though recent political reformation declared secular state 95% of the people are very poor who resides in the Hills, Terai and mountains. Out of 28 millions of people only 0.1% people are Christians.

My vision is to reach out the places of Nepal of Hill, Terai and mountains and want to share gospel with those people who are unknown about gospel. Then, preparing the native missionaries’ to establish the churches where there is no Churches. I have a very keen desire to reach out Hindus, Muslims and other faiths too. In the areas of man power we are rich but in the areas of economic we are not capable. God has given me faith, boldness and experience to bring to reality our vision. Therefore, I would say kindly pray and share your love.

In this time I am giving training of the gospel. We preach gospel in every step. We are making our believers skillful and equip them to preach the gospel properly. Our believers preach gospel in their areas and in the areas where they are work. After that they bring them in the church and we grown up them by providing fellowship, bible study. We make them strong.

How we spread the Gospel:  Special outreach

In special outreach first we contact to those places where there is not reach gospel. After contacting them we send a group of 8—10 people to go outreach. We stay that in place for 15—20 days. In that time we preach the gospel. After understanding our Lord they will accept. Then we will provide fellowship, teach them how to pray and study the Bible. We choose one couple missionaries to send bible training for 1 year or 2 years. After training they will learn more things and we send them that place where we have preached gospel. Then, we plant our cell church in that place. That cell church will grow and it will become a church.

Thank you may God bless you.  We need your prayer and Love.
