Due to technical difficulties on Sunday, January 3, 2010 our sermon audio was lost during the recording phase.  We apologize for this problem but were unable to recover it.  However, we were able to pull the audio from the video camera we use to feed our simulcast room.  The problem with this recording is that it picks up it’s sound from the video camera mic and thus gets a lot of house noise and has a hollow sound to it.  If you can tolerate hearing coughs, squeaking seat writing tables being swung up, some ongoing baby noise – well just lots of house noise – then here is Sunday’s sermon and again we apologize for this poor quality of audio.  

In light of this we have also made available all three of John MacArthur’s sermons on this passage.  As Norm mentioned both weeks in his intro these were the sermons he was listening to and was so impacted by that prompted him to preach this passage over our holiday Sundays.  Norm told us that he borrowed frequently from John’s work and we think if you listen to John’s sermons you will see why. Also we would encourage you to pick up John’s book, ‘The Tale of Two Sons’ and read more about what this passage teaches us about God’s offer of grace to sinners and sanctimonious religious people.   Audio Santimonious Judgement - 010309.mp3
