Follow up from Sunday - Video showing God in creation
Hi all,
Sunday we began our three week series called, 'God Speaks' from Psalm 19. We examined verses 1-6 in which David clearly spells out the fact that all people of all time have seen the reality that there is a Creator. They see Him for God has made Himself known to them through space, the sky, daily, every night and via the sun. He has a 24x7x365 witness to the fact that He is real, alive and their Creator.
We learned from Romans 1:16-23 as well that this means all people of all nations of all generations are without excuse for all have seen and know that they have a Creator and yet they 'suppress this truth' and therefore are 'without excuse'.
God's general revelation (this awareness from creation that there is a Creator) cannot save anyone but it is enough to leave us all without excuse and condemned. Next Sunday we will examine Psalm 19:7-11 to see God's specific revelation - His written Word.
I mentioned at the close of the sermon that there are so many witnesses to God's reality in our lives every single day - one of which is the miracle of conception and birth.
Here is the link to the TED's video I mentioned. TED's is a very secular site with talks covering all sorts of topics about new business ideas, scientific discoveries, etc. - very open ended. Not recommending everything here but watch with your own discernment.
Also just FYI in case you have children watching - about 2/3's of the way through they show a baby being born - quick clip respectfully done - showing the head coming out but the body is visible inside via computer drawing. Plus at the end of the video there are a couple of sketches, in speaking of how the baby grows, of a woman's body during 2-3 stages of pregnancy - sort of a see through sketch - just FYI.
