Harvest Global Missions Update
Home - Plugging In - News - Harvest Global Missions Update
As God continues to grow us our desire is to ensure all areas of our ministry reflects Biblical mandates and priorities. As part of this God has been moving us to enhance our global mission efforts. Over the past 5-6 years we have been connected with Josiah Venture (click
HERE to learn more about JV) in Eastern Europe, specifically partnering with a Serbian national helping to disciples youth leaders in that country.
During 2010 God has directed us to look to a partnership with HBF International (see an update below from them) to look at helping strengthen the church internationally and to help plant more churches.
As part of that effort three of our leaders (Jon Sodeman - Global Missions Leader, Tim Wiebe - Elder, and Norm Millar - Pastor) will travel to Nepal with the leader of HBF International, Kirk VanMannen (picture on right) from November 10-20, 2010.
You can view details about our trip at our global missions blog located
HERE.
Please be in prayer for our team and Kirk as we seek to discover if this is where God would have us partner globally over the next 5 years. We need much wisdom but also would appreciate prayer for our safety and our effectiveness to serve the church there as we will be teaching 40+ pastors with a Harvest University sort of approach about church ministry fundamentals. Plus pray that God would teach us much as we know we have more to learn from the church and leaders in Nepal than we have to offer them.
Thanks,
Norm
